Changing Seasons

Daniel was a man who sought God in the midst of changing seasons of life as well as in changing leadership. Where do you turn when seasons change?

Daniel was a man who sought God in the midst of changing seasons of life and leadership. Held captive and threatened by powerful political rulers, Daniel kept his eyes on God. Regardless of who the current leader was, Daniel was confident that God was in control. His prayers exalt God as the source of his wisdom and discernment. Where do you turn in the changing seasons of life and leadership challenges?

“Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his. He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.”—Daniel 2:20-21

Prayer: Sovereign God, I turn to You as my source of security and wisdom. I praise You for how You have guided me and how You will continue to guide me in the midst of life's changes. You are utterly reliable. I trust You to give me the wisdom to lead well. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
