Drought-displaced families in Puntland, Somalia, depend on water delivered by aid organizations.
Faced with extreme and long-term drought, farmers and animal herders are in need of water, food, health and nutrition services, sanitation, and household goods. Across the country of Somalia, 6 million people are facing potential starvation, including more than 900,000 children under age 5 who are acutely malnourished.
World Vision is targeting more than 1 million people for aid. The organization has already helped many thousands in Somalia with food aid, nutrition, water, and health care.
