Blessing in Disguise

Share the Bible with those who are suffering as a source of hope and love from God.

Susan, an HIV-positive woman in Zambia, finds hope in reading the Bible and sharing God’s message of love with others.

“When I first tested HIV positive I thought it was a punishment from God. Instead I have realized that it is actually a great blessing in disguise for me, my household, and the entire community where I live,” says Susan.

She uses the Bible to bring hope to those who have been devastated by HIV and AIDS and says the Bible has been a source of love from God for her to share with community members.

She says, “I believe God has power to make our community free of HIV and AIDS through the efforts we are making."

Nehemiah 13:2 “…Our God, however, turned the curse into a blessing.”

Acknowledge the greatness of God, who turns curses into blessings.
