Assurance

Description

I am grateful that You open the door upon which I knock, and that You reward those who seek You.

When I approach You by asking, seeking, and knocking, I have Your assurance that You will respond.

When I ask, it will be given to me; when I seek, I will find; when I knock, the door will be opened to me. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. (Matthew 7:7-8; Luke 11:9-10)

Lord,

I come to You in full acknowledgement of my desperation and need for You. I am grateful that You open the door upon which I knock, and that You reward those who seek You. In Your grace You give me better than what I request, because You alone know what I truly need.

Amen.
