Ask Him Your Tough Questions

Description

If we are not careful, we can find ourselves putting off opportunities, taking for granted that they will always be available.

And as he was setting out on how journey, a man ran up and knelt before him and asked him, "Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?" Mark 10:17

Think

Timing is everything. But if we are not careful, we can find ourselves putting off opportunities, taking for granted that they will always be available. But sometimes, the danger of putting off those opportunities is steep.

Many put off the doctor's appointment and find themselves getting sicker as a result. Many have paid thousands for a repair that would have cost much less if only they had been immediately addressed. Many have lost it all because they ignored areas of sin in their lives. But in today's verse, we see that the rich young ruler was asking Jesus the right question at the right time.

What opportunities are you taking advantage of to seek the answers for your questions? What opportunities are you putting off? Don't waste time. Instead, run to Christ and ask Him today.

Pray

Thank God for the opportunities He has given you to connect with Him. Ask Him the tough questions you have now...and listen intently for His answers.

Act

If there's something you are seeking, don't wait. Ask the tough questions you have today. Take the first step. Find a trusted adviser or friend, and let them know what you are seeking.
