Are You Experiencing Real Peace?

Description

In many situations, our overreliance on everything but God limits our faith and ability to receive the peace of God.

"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." John 16:33

Think

While it is impossible to escape pain in life, it is possible to overcome pain. The greatest way is to “eat more Ps!"

The Physician’s Prescription and Plan for your Pain will Probably not be Pre-emptive or Preventative; the Pill He Prescribes is Peace found in His Presence.

When we establish ourselves in Christ, we not only experience His presence; we also discover the supernatural peace of God. This kind of peace exceeds our understanding and equips us with power to face any situation we encounter in this world, because we know that Christ has already overcome it.

This means, if you have stepped over the line of faith in Jesus, you are victorious through Christ and have been predestined to overcome any pain or problems you encounter!

Pray

Today, pray that God allows you the opportunity to experience His awesome peace and presence to overcome your pain.

Act

In many situations, our overreliance on everything but God limits our faith and ability to receive the peace of God. As we look towards new beginnings, take time to write down the things in your life that you have relied on to help you overcome pain. Then ask yourself the powerful question: are they helping you experience real peace?
