An Unhurried Life

Description
Recently I noticed I’m drawn to unhurried people. I'm sure it's because I wish I was more like them.
I bet unhurried moms take time to explain to their kids where they’re going. Hurried moms tell their children to get in the car, they'll find out soon.
Unhurried women take time to chat with a sales clerk, and brighten her day. Hurried women rush in and out, glancing at their watches if they’re running late.
I have a feeling children and sales clerks see a little more of Jesus in an unhurried woman.
When I read the Bible, I’ve noticed Jesus put people over His schedule. Although He had more to accomplish in three years than I can imagine accomplishing in a lifetime, the Bible never mentions Jesus being in a hurry. He always made time for people. So today, I’m going to commit to live unhurried like Jesus. Want to join me?
