He's got it all. That is what we can say about the Holy Spirit, he's got it all. We can see this in the Great Commission. He is ranked equally with the Father and Son in the command to disciple and baptize. This is very important. When the Holy Spirit comes into our lives, we are not being short changed. He is fully deity. All the resources of heaven are at our disposal.
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:19-20).
So as the great commission states, Jesus is with us to the end of the age. At the same time the Holy Spirit is in our hearts and lives. We have the presence of Jesus throughout our lives, and the power of the Holy Spirit within our lives. Therefore, as we relate to the Father, through the person and work of Christ, we have the Holy Spirit responding to that relationship with the Father, based on our acceptance with the Son.
