All for One and One for All

Jesus chose not to live or lead in His own strength. What about you?

Jesus repeatedly emphasized that every part of His life was lived in response to the Father and in dependence on the Holy Spirit. There was never a day when He woke up and decided to just do whatever He wanted. In other words, His every word and action modeled the unity, power, and purpose of God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This didn't happen by accident; it was the result of conscious choices to exalt God only, to know and live by Scripture, to spend consistent and extended time in prayer. Jesus chose not to live or lead in His own strength. What about you?

For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me.—John 6:38

Prayer: God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—let my life and leadership reflect Your influence. May I lead like Jesus, focused on doing the Father's will and empowered by the Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name and for Your sake I pray, amen.
