As a mom, the more you feel loved, the more love you have to give. Bask in God’s love today; soak it in and enjoy it!

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. I John 3:1

The love of a mother for her child is great. There is nothing a mother would not do to help her child and sacrifice for her child. You have someone that loves you even more, and that is God. God wants to lavish us with His love. He has adopted us so that we are now co-heirs with Jesus and He calls us His children. (Romans 8:17)

Your Heavenly Father is the creator of the universe. God created all things. He is holy, righteous, omniscient, all knowing, loving, full of grace and mercy, and He calls you his child. You are a co-heir to the one and true God, and you will receive all the benefits that are attached to being an heir. It is important that you realize and believe that God truly loves you, because a person that feels so loved will give a greater amount of love in return. As a mom, the more you feel loved, the more love you have to give. Bask in God’s love today; soak it in and enjoy it. 

Prayer

Father, Thank you for adopting me as your child. Thank you for including me as one of your own and for lavishing your love upon me. I pray that I will always remember that I am dearly loved and that I would feel your love in my life. God, help me to teach my children about you and your great love for them as well.
