Acts 18

A tour of Acts 18 with Ken Boa.

Paul went on from Athens to Corinth where he continued his custom of bringing the gospel to the Jews first and then to the Gentiles. He allied himself with Aquila and his wife Priscilla, and when Silas and Timothy joined him, he devoted himself to proclaiming and teaching about Jesus the Messiah. Many of the Corinthians came to faith in Christ, and Paul spent eighteen months teaching the word of God among them. Paul and his companions then sailed to Ephesus where he reasoned with the Jews in the synagogue. From there he sailed to Caesarea, went up to greet the church in Jerusalem, and returned to Antioch. After a time, Paul commenced his third missionary journey (A.D. 53-57; 18:23-21:16) by returning first to the region of Galatia and Phrygia to strengthen the disciples.

Lord, I thank You for the Messianic prophecies in the Hebrew Bible that point to Jesus as the Messiah. May I come to know Him better by abiding in Him, entrusting myself to Him, and affirming His lordship over every component of my life.
