Psalm 31:14-15 (NIV®)
I trust in you, O LORD; I say, “You are my God.” My times are in your hands.
I’m a rational guy, but I have given myself permission to say “I don’t know” about some things of God. People say, “Explain this Jesus to me.” I reply, “Well, I’ll tell you what I do know, and I’ll tell you what He’s done in my life. But there are a lot of things about Him that I won’t know in my days in the earth.” Learning to follow God is a challenge for all of us, but the realization that “I don’t know” is an acceptable answer is a very powerful place. No matter what circumstances are swirling around you, believe that God wants the best for you. Place your days in His hands. Say, “I trust You, Lord, and I will follow You.”
Heavenly Father, I trust in Your unfailing love, in Your deliverance, and in Your plan for my life. I trust that You want the best for me and that You will see me through whatever challenges life has for me. My times are in Your hands, Lord. In Jesus’ name, amen.
