I couldn’t help but think, “Truer words have never been spoken.” But then I started to think about that fine line between being honest and being fake. We are master pretenders, are we not? But instead of faking we like something, couldn’t we find something purposely to look for that we do like in that gift… or that woman that gets on our nerves… or our spouse’s comment… or whatever else triggers us. There’s always some tiny thread of something we could intentionally focus on and make the smile go from fake to real.
