A Biblical World View
“All Your words are true; all Your righteous laws are eternal.” Psalm 119:160
At the very core of everyone’s faith is a decision that we all must come to...
We either believe what God says is truth - or we don’t. At the point that we start picking and choosing what we want to apply to our lives or what we rather wouldn't - it’s time to re-evaluate. If God is life and He is truth; if His word is living and active, sharper than a double edged sword; if the word is God and was with God in the beginning…. His words are infallible. Moreover - we can trust them fully in any and every situation.
His laws were trustworthy at the dawn of creation; they are still acting as guardrails in our lives today and always will.
But - Why is this such an important decision? At the point that you choose to believe God’s word to be ultimate truth and the authority in every situation, you begin to view your life and circumstances, the mundane and exciting events of the day through a different lens: a biblical world view. You will process things through the light of God’s Word. This is essential in growing to maturity as a Christian.
If you haven’t fully made up your mind on the matter - I would challenge you to seriously consider it. You cannot experience life the way it was meant to be lived, until you come to a knowledge of this truth.
Prayer: Lord, how I pray that we would each come to this life-changing conclusion. I pray You would open our eyes to a whole new world of faith in You. Thank you that Your word is trustworthy. Convict us in the areas we have chosen to ignore. We love you Lord! Amen
