3030 Challenge: Day 20

Description

Psalm 18:30 says that God’s way is perfect. And when we follow His ways, we submit to His authority and wisdom, and we come under His protection and provision.

Psalm 18:30

You’ve made it to day 20. That’s great! You are making a powerful investment in your life as you spend time studying the Bible. As you look back over the last 19 days, think about the ways God has been helping you through His Word. It’s amazing how it’s the source of everything we need, including the wisdom and strength to face our problems.

Psalm 18:30 says God’s way is perfect. And when we follow His ways, we submit to His authority and wisdom and come under the protection He provides. Psalm 18:30 clearly tells us that God “is a shield to all those who take refuge and put their trust in Him.” Think about God’s presence in your life covering you like a shield. He’s always with you, 24/7, and He never sleeps or takes His eyes off of you for a second! You can run to Him for refuge and trust Him to be there for you at all times.

John 16:33 is another great scripture that encourages us in the midst of difficulties. Jesus says, “In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world” (NKJV). This means that when we have problems—and we all do from time to time—we can cheer up anyway! Through our life in Christ, we can overcome them and have peace and joy no matter what comes our way.

God loves you, and He is with you to be your refuge as you put your trust in Him. And you can always trust Him because His way is perfect!

Walk It Out

Are you stable and secure in God’s love for you today, or do you need to be encouraged that you’re never alone and He wants to protect and care for you? Choosing to place our complete trust in God is a daily decision we must make. Study Psalm 91 to gain deeper insight into how He is your ultimate Refuge and Fortress.
