3030 Challenge: Day 15
God has a great plan for your life. He loves you, He’s good, and He wants to be good to you. But if you aren’t living by faith in Him, you can’t walk out His good plan for your life. Studying the Word is vitally important to walk by faith, because as Romans 10:17 (NKJV) says, “…Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
As believers in Christ, each of us has faith. Romans 12:3 (NKJV) says, “God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.” This means we don’t have to pray for God to give us faith; we need to use the faith we’ve been given and conquer fear—the enemy of faith.
Isaiah 41:10 tells us to “fear not,” but this doesn’t mean we aren’t supposed to feel fear. It means that when we do feel fear, we don’t have to let it stop us from doing what God is leading us to do.
God wants us to be bold, courageous, confident and full of faith. Courage is not the absence of fear; it’s pressing forward in the face of fear. Through faith in God and studying His Word, we can walk with our head up, with purpose, alert and active, following God’s plans for our lives every day.
Walk It Out
The Bible teaches us that we can choose to stand against fear and not allow it to rule our lives. First John 4:18 (NKJV) says, “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear….” So the more we know and have a revelation of how much God loves us, the less we will live in fear. Because then we’ll believe with childlike faith that our Father God will take care of us.
Study scriptures about God’s love and pray for a deeper experience with Him that will strengthen your faith and stamp out any fear that’s holding you back from living out His will for your life.
