2 Kings 6

A tour of 2 Kings 6 with Ken Boa.

Elisha continued to work signs and wonders, and one of his gifts was the knowledge of what the enemies of Israel were plotting. When the king of Syria heard that Elisha was thwarting his plans in this way, he sent an army to capture the prophet in Dothan. Elisha’s servant was terrified to see the city surrounded, until Elisha prayed for him and he was granted a vision of God’s protective forces.  The Syrians were struck with blindness as Elisha led them to Samaria, Israel’s capital, and then opened their eyes. But Elisha treated them with mercy and allowed them to return to Syria.

Lord, You empowered Your prophet Elisha to accomplish great things. I thank You for the way You raise up choice servants for significant ministries to comfort and provide for Your people, and I thank You that You continue to work through Your servants today.
