The Hack:
Plant Your Feet
What is your here and now?
So often we fall into the grass is greener cliche and start looking toward what is next or our next job or who we would rather be spending time with. We are at an all-time high with dissatisfaction with life as a society. But again, this doesn’t have to be what we settle in, right?
Vibrant life hack: trust God’s goodness in your here and now and planting your feet. Seek gratitude. Intentional with relationships in our here and now rather than looking toward where we think we need to be. Ask, what do you have to show me in my situation, job, relationship? It is all for His glory and good and He wastes nothing. It all adds up to a vibrant life of being present with our feet planted in gratitude and toward growth in whatever season the Lord has us in.
The Scripture:
The Lord is my chosen portion and my cup; you hold my lot. The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance. {Psalm 16 but be sure to read the whole Psalm!}
The Posture:
~Plant your feet with gratitude. Seek God’s goodness right where you are…even if it is a struggle. He will meet you and grow your roots there.
~Who can you love and serve in your here and now instead of looking to that greener grass or toward what is next?
~Pray for vision to see and a renewed trust in where your feet are presently planted.
