What Your Worry Says

Have you ever thought about how God interprets your worry and anxiety? Scripture tells us time and again not to worry but to trust in God instead. When we worry, we are essentially telling God that we don’t think He knows about our situation, or that we don’t think He can handle it. We are saying that we don’t trust Him. Today’s post explores how trust and worry don’t mix—you either worry, or you trust God.

The Wrap Up

Taking control of your thoughts and submitting them to your trust in God will help you when worry overtakes you. You may have to tell yourself often that God is handling your situation, but the more you practice, the easier it gets. This practice will especially help you develop confidence in your faith during times when God’s presence seems far away. The next post will help you learn how to be confident in the fact that even if He seems far away, He is always near and ready to help you.
