When you truly understand the enormity of God’s grace, you will be transformed. You will respond to God’s grace by helping others. You will freely extend grace to others. When you understand and live in God’s grace, you will even be able to forgive others. Even those who have hurt you deeply. Imagine how different the world would look if we all treated one another—and especially our enemies—with the kind of grace God shows us! This life-changing act of extending grace and forgiveness to those who hurt you is only possible because of God’s grace, as this post explains.

Read
Matthew 18:32-33
Pray
God, You so graciously forgive me. Please help me forgive those who hurt me. It’s not easy to do, but with Your grace flowing through me, I pray that I can forgive others as You have forgiven me.
Reflect
Am I still holding a grudge against someone who has hurt me?
Respond
Contemplate the times God has forgiven you, and out of gratitude for God’s grace, extend forgiveness to those who have hurt you. This can change your world.
Think about how different your life could be if you extended the same kind of grace God has given you to others in your life. This grace that is undeserved but life-changing. This grace brings forgiveness to you so you can extend it to the people you know—even those who have hurt you. When you really think about the power of God’s grace and the enormity of His love, it can be overwhelming. The next post will help you respond to God’s grace in worship.
