What is “Advent?” It comes from the Latin word ADVENTUS meaning “coming or arrival.” Jesus came to the world over 2000 years ago and during this time each year we look to the scriptures to recall His arrival, find hope, and rejoice at this good news!
As we anticipate the birth and celebration of Jesus Christ, let’s help our families slow down and take time to really think about our Savior’s coming. Why did He come? How can we know Him more? What can we do to share the good news of His coming with those around us? This devotional experience is meant to do just that! Give you and your family dedicated time each day to READ (the scripture), ASK (some questions) and GO (serve our family, neighbors, and world).
Rejoice! The Savior has come!

John’s purpose from the beginning was to make ready the hearts of the people!
Have you ever wondered why you might need a savior? Genesis 3 launches us into the great reveal, the answer to our questions, and the reason the Advent had to come.
He is a Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace! What hope we have in Him!
Prophecies are promises from God.
