There is no doubt that as you journey toward maturity in God, you will fight many battles with the enemy. The devil does not want you to live a life of godliness, because when you do, you show the world how trustworthy and loving God is. The enemy will try every trick in the book to make you think that the only way to be a woman of value is to hold on to what the world thinks a woman should be. Instead, be strong. Submit to what God wants for your life, and you will realize the blessings He wants you to have because of your obedience.
Today, find out why your real security stems from Jesus. Because God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, you are forever secure as a woman of God.

Jesus, it is because of You that I am who I am. I will no longer trust in others’ opinions of me or their views about how I should act. I will trust only You and Your direction because You are the same forever.

Making the decision to follow God in a deeper, more mature relationship isn’t always easy. Sometimes you will have to make choices that go against worldly thinking. Sometimes you will need to seek for specific direction from God or from a mentor, but it is worth the effort.
