Being Blessed
You’ve Got This!

If you ask any mother how she knows exactly what to do on a given day, she will probably confess to you that she either just knows... or that she is making it up as she goes along.

Being a mother is a very special job for which women are uniquely designed. God has given you a skill set to raise and encourage your children in a way only you can. You are the expert on your children, and you alone have the ability to influence and encourage them as they grow.

In today’s post, Dr. Gary and Barb Rosberg look at how a woman can be a confident mother and her child’s greatest cheerleader.

Being a Mother

00:00

Pray

Thank you, God, for giving me the innate skills to be a mother to my children. Guide me and direct me so my instincts reflect Your will and Your desire for my kids.

Reflect

Am I influencing my kids in a positive way?

Respond

Get God more involved in your home by praying before you speak or react, by reading Scripture with your children, and by setting an example of service.

The Wrap Up

You’ve got this! Sure there are days when you struggle and make mistakes, but there are also days when you do it right. Trust your instincts and know that God will give you everything you need to mother your children. You don’t need to compare yourself to other moms who look like they have it all together; you don’t even have to stress about doing it right. Next time, you’ll learn the biggest secret to surviving and thriving in motherhood: You’re going to learn about The Mommy Truth!
