Overview

Being a mom is one of the greatest blessings but some days it’s hard to weather the storms that we’re challenged with in life.

Whether it’s sickness, safety, school, friends, their choices (or ours), making ends meet as a single mom, or other storms you never planned to face, our hearts have plenty of opportunities to feel stretched or troubled.

Yet God wants us to have the abundance of motherhood, not the fear! He will not always take away the storms but He promises us His peace in the midst of them.

It doesn’t matter if our children are infants, adults, or somewhere in between: in this growth plan, you'll discover the biblical direction to become a woman of serenity and delight in all seasons and have impact for generations to come.

Study Guide

We Are Created for Community

When we try to do life on our own -- when we prioritize our children over our relationship with the Lord, our marriage, or our friends -- we often become misguided in our priorities and focus.

Lesson 2
Rejoice in Our Sufferings

Those hard times we would never have chosen will produce endurance, character, and a hope that we would never trade.

Lesson 3
Change Your Perspective

There will be seasons of quiet and space. And there will be seasons of noise, and crying, and laughter, and little feet running the halls. God sees us in all of it.

Lesson 4
"Your Choice, My Child"

Worry is a temptation. But we need to choose to stop those roiling thoughts, to hand those worries over to Him, to focus on God’s promises and have peace.

Lesson 5
Reflect The Hope You Have Within

The Spirit of God lives within us! We must never let His light be hidden by routinely stressed-out, serious, bored, or annoyed expressions. Let our expressions reflect the hope we have within.
