Doing Life Together

Ultimately, the best way to show Jesus’ love to other people is to do life with them, help them in their need, and share the reality of who He is with them. As you continue to do this, remember that God is in control of the whole thing—He calls people to Him and asks you to share about His love and Jesus’ sacrifice. While you interact with your friends, neighbors, co-workers and others whom God puts in your path, you can use everyday moments to share what Jesus means to you. This last post explains how important your everyday interactions and testimony are to the people God brings to you.

Read

John 6:44

Pray

Jesus, it is such a gift to have a relationship with You. Help me realize how important You are and how important You can be to the unsaved people in my life. Put a fire in my heart to passionately share your love, grace, and mercy to the people around me.

Reflect

How can I start building better relationships with people who are seeking Jesus?

Respond

Be deliberate about your relationships. Prayerfully seek out the people God wants you to befriend, and always look for opportunities to share the love of Jesus through both your actions and your words.

The Wrap Up

As Christians, we are all called to share the love of Jesus and the plan of salvation with the world. The best way to evangelize is through your lifestyle by sharing, helping, and building relationships where you can first meet needs and then share Christ. This is not an optional activity, for Jesus said, “Therefore go and make disciples, of all nations…” (Matthew 28:19). God promises that He will go before you, preparing people’s hearts. All He expects from you is that you talk about His love, mercy, and grace with those He puts in your path. When you practice using the tools provided in this Growth Plan, you will begin to see more opportunities to share the Gospel. And when you act on those opportunities, you are fulfilling the Great Commission that Jesus commanded in Matthew 28:19. Now, go! Be bold and courageous, and start talking with the people you know about how much Jesus means to you.
