While worship is something you can do all day, every day, there is also a time and place for corporate worship—a coming together of God’s children to lift His name in honor and praise. The Spirit is active and Jesus is revealed when we come together with other believers to praise, worship, learn, and pray. This is all worship. This post explains why you should not give up meeting together to worship God.
"Personal and Corporate Worship" by Dr. Gene A. Getz
Psalm 22:3
Lord, spur us on to keep meeting together, praising You and worshiping Your name together when we gather as a church congregation. Let that worship be pleasing to Your ears.
Am I meeting with other Christians to worship God?
Make sure you are attending worship services with other believers and getting involved with small groups or Bible studies, for this is how we encourage one another in the Lord.
Gathering together to worship brings us closer to one another and closer to God. When we worship together, we can remind each other about His awesomeness, which in turn makes us worship Him more. The more we worship God, the more alive our faith becomes, and the more we see His mercy and grace. As you’ll see in the next post, true worship is remembering all He has done and praising His name for it.
