Life doesn’t always turn out the way we want it to, and we often get frustrated and distraught because we are disappointed about what is happening. But if you are living your life with faith in Jesus, you can trust that your life is working out just the way God wants it to. If you believe that Jesus died for your sins, then you also have to believe He is working for your good. In this post, you will discover how, in all things, God is working in your best interest—even through your trials.

Read
Romans 8:28
Pray
Jesus, I trust that You are working everything out for my good and Your glory. Keep me strong in my faith so I can become victorious in You.
Reflect
Do I really believe that God is acting in my best interest in all things?
Respond
If you are having a hard time believing that God is acting in your best interest, pray and ask Him to reveal Himself to you so you can continue to trust Him.
As believers, we cannot expect to be exempt from difficult times. Trials are part of life, and while they can be hard to get through, God uses them to strengthen and mature us. In fact, God wants us to lean into Him during our difficult times so we can learn about the trustworthiness of His character and love in order to deepen our faith. Our trials can also help us to develop a sense of determination and perseverance as we fight for victory. The way we handle our struggles can even cause other people to see God’s glory in our trials. If you are in the midst of trials, take heart! God has not abandoned you. He is right there, waiting for the right time to intervene. He knows you are hurting and understands your pain, and He won’t leave you.
