Pray
Jesus, it overwhelms me sometimes when I realize how much You care about me and my life. I am blessed to learn that You have a plan for me that may include a life-partner—someone You have deemed a perfect partner for me. Thank You for saving that person for me, and for showing him/her to me when the time is right.
Reflect
Am I praying now for the marriage God will give me?

If you are looking for your life-partner, employ the guidelines in this post to make sure you are allowing God to lead you to the person He has determined to be the right one for you.
The only way to date successfully is to make sure that your focus is first and foremost on God. When you allow Him to fulfill you, you will be less likely to appear desperate in a relationship. God has laid out a good plan for meeting, dating, courting and marrying a person. When you seek His discernment and guidance, He will show you what to do. The Bible has much to say about marriage, and you can learn a lot about dating by seeking its wisdom. The bottom line is this: God has someone for you to marry—someone who will bring out the best in you. Someone you just can’t live without. Dating is the means to finding that person. Ask for His help with every aspect of your relationship, and He will fulfill your longing for love.
