You Can Find Freedom in Jesus
You Can Find Freedom in Jesus

Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom, peace, and love. The blood of Jesus has the authority to cover your sin and heal your afflictions. Come to the Lord now in worship, praising Him for the power to overcome your addiction.

When you do, you’ll find freedom in Jesus. Meditate on the words to the song in this post and remember them as you fight the stronghold of addiction. You will find that when you bring the addiction that has enslaved you to Jesus, He will break those chains and give you the freedom to live in peace.

"MUSIC: Freedom" by Bethel Music

Read
James 4:7

Pray
Jesus -- I long for Your freedom, peace and love. I praise You for the way you help me through this trial, and I worship You because You are the provider of freedom.

Reflect
Am I allowing Jesus to give me this freedom?

Respond
Each morning from here on out, submit your addiction to God. Every day. It will be something you will always fight, but in Jesus you can be free!

To overcome addiction, you must first recognize what in your life has become more important than God, and what you are using to give you temporary happiness. When you know, begin your healing with prayer. Then find a community to which you can be accountable. Trust that Jesus wants what is best for you and then do the hard work to become free. It isn’t always easy to break a stronghold, but the reward is freedom, peace, and joy. Jesus wants that for you. It’s time for you to live it.
