God Has Not Abandoned Us to Injustice
God Has Not Abandoned Us to Injustice

When we look at the injustices of the world, sometimes we want to ask God, "Where are You?" Our hearts want answers because what we see doesn't make sense to us. But the Scripture makes it clear that God hasn't abandoned us, nor will He.

As pastor Mark Jeske tells us in this final installment in "A Christian Perspective on Justice," this much is true: "Jesus Christ is the answer to our personal cry for justice."

"For Justice" by Mark Jeske

PRAY

Father, we thank You that You have promised never to leave us or forsake us. We thank You that when all is said and done, justice will prevail and Your will will be done. Give us the strength to endure the hardships of injustice like a good soldier. Help

REFLECT

For he who does wrong will receive the consequences of the wrong which he has done, and that without partiality. (Colossians 3:25)

But the Lord abides forever;
He has established His throne for judgment,
And He will judge the world in righteousness;
He will execute judgment for the peoples with equity. (Psalm 9:7-8)

And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. (Revelation 20:12-13)
