Do you hang on to your money because you want to be a good steward? Or are you just a miser in disguise?
Money can do a lot of things, but it cannot do the greatest thing: it cannot buy God’s love for us or satisfy our desire for Him.
The early church members got it right: they recognized that nothing was their own. They also recognized that they were responsible to help those in need.
Although God created us to enjoy our work in His world, many people labor without joy. But God blesses faithful work, even when difficult.
It seems not to matter how we got our money, nor how the poor became poor. But if we fail to use our resources to help those in need, we condemn ourselves.
