As a single woman, how do you handle your "violent craving?"
Can we be like Jesus and see beyond external appearance, especially when that apperance is "ugly" and diseased?
Studies show that people struggling with mental health issues often turn to pastors first. Too often, they receive only prayer and bad advice.
If we're honest, we'd much rather spend time with like-minded friends at similar stages in life. But the Gospel and the Christian community is for ALL people, not just the people we feel comfortable with.
Too often, leaders with different viewpoints simply talk past each other. We need leaders who live with their convictions while simultaneously demonstrating love, listening and respect.
A large number of young people feel that if their past secrets were discovered, no one would love or respect them. How can we help these kids to get past their shame and become leaders of influence?
What are you modeling for those who follow you?
How do we shift from an “in the way" mentality? Here's a simple, one-word answer: Love.
As a Christian parent, don’t fake it. Let your kids know when you're in over the chin and then watch as GOD shows up to prove Himself faithful.
