Read: 1 Chronicles 12:19-14:17
As followers of Christ, we know that "found people find people" but that sharing the gospel in our workplaces and in our schools can be intimidating. Often times, we allow insecurities or petty excuses to overshadow our calling to tell others about Jesus.
The Bible tells us in 1 Chronicles 14:15-17 that the Lord has already conquered any obstacle we may perceive to be in our way. When David goes to battle, he goes with confidence knowing that the Lord has gone ahead of him. All David had to do was commit to obedience and do as God commanded, and he was able to strike down the Philistine army.
The courage God requires of us will never exceed His reach because God doesn’t have boundaries. We aren’t plunging into uncharted territory when we begin that much-needed conversation with a co-worker, friend or family member. The victory is already won because God has gone before us. He is already actively pursuing their hearts, and we get to be the tool that He uses to continue the work. Share your faith with boldness knowing that the Lord has gone ahead of you!
