When I was a teenager, my youth group traveled to some nearby caves and caverns. A group of us got lost in one of the caverns, and for a while, we didn’t know if we would ever find our way out. Eventually, after much perseverance, we emerged in the light.
Sometimes in life, we find ourselves in situations where we feel like we’re stuck in a cavern and we’re never going to get out. In Psalm 105, David reminds us how the children of
God made a way for the Israelites and He wants to do the same for us. If today you find yourself in a seemingly insurmountable situation, remember this: He who brought you to it will see you through it. You will come out. And you will come out better than you went in.
