TODAY’S TREASURE
The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still. (Exodus 14:14)
Dear Friends,
Sue Tell continues to share from her blog, Echoes of Grace, and takes on some of my favorite Scriptures and topics. Often as I read, I think she is living a life similar to mine. I like her thoughts on scheduling white space in our calendars to give us wiggle room, recognizing the sacred in ordinary places, the meaning of humility, trusting God’s promise to fight for us, the importance of stillness, and the struggle to be content with my identity as God’s child when I want to belong and be known by my deeds or relationships.
In preparation for this week’s devotionals, review each of these Scriptures and ask the Lord to open your heart to how each one applies to you. You might be surprised by the direction He takes you.
Then he said, “Do not come near; take your sandals off your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.” (Exodus 3:5)
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)
He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way. (Psalm 25:9)
The LORD will fight for you; you have only to be still. (Exodus 14:14)
Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless
before the presence of his glory with great joy … (Jude 1:24)
Treasured by Him,
