How do we know if God will answer our prayers? There are some prayers I’ve been praying steadily for more than a decade now… and still, God has withheld what I yearn for. I mean - seriously… from a worldly set of wisdom - I’m completely crazy to continue trusting God in an area where He seems to be uninterested.
The really crazy thing is… that God has used this specific area to grow my faith deeper and stronger in Him than any other. He has used it to mold me and make me more into the image of Christ; perfecting my faith along the way.
I am fully convinced that God’s plan for my life is so much better than anything I could dream up. I trust Him completely - even in the unknown. He has proved Himself faithful time and time again.
Prayer: LORD, when the storm clouds rage, my plans fall to pieces at my feet, and I am tempted to believe you don’t care… May I recount all the times you have been right there beside me, every step of the way. May I turn to your WORD and let it wash over me with it’s truth. May I cast aside the worries and doubts - and trust that what you say is TRUE - You are continually working all things together for the good of those who love you. Amen
