Abnormally Born: Bread for the Journey

We need to spend more time thanking God for what He's given to us rather than always be looking for what's next.

Psalm 78:18-20  They willfully put God to the test by demanding the food they craved. They spoke against God; they said, “Can God really spread a table in the wilderness? True, he struck the rock, and water gushed out, streams flowed abundantly, but can he also give us bread? Can he supply meat for his people?”     

"What’s next?" These two words drive the attitude of my heart in so many areas of my life. After lunch I’m thinking about dinner. After dinner I’m thinking about dessert. After dessert I’m thinking about a snack. So much time is spent on “what’s next” that I miss what is right now.

God has blessed me in so many ways that I need to spend more time thanking Him, thinking of these blessings, holding them close in my heart, and less time thinking about what could be next.
