Are You Going Through the Fire?

No matter what you’re experiencing right now, or what you’re really going through, but be encouraged especially today. Whatever trial you’re going through, stay strong, because your story is worth it.

Though the trial might be so intense or so difficult sometimes that it feels like you’re going through a fire, this truth remains: your trials will become your most beautiful testimonies.

So many lives bear witness to this! Look at Joyce Meyer: a young woman abused sexually, mentally, emotionally, and verbally by her father, she has become a world-renowned teacher and encourager!

It’s the same for Nick Vujicic: a disabled, lonely, suicidal child, born without arms or legs, he has become a loving husband and father who reaches millions of people!

In the Bible, we also can read the story of Esther, a deported orphan who became queen and was a powerful vessel used by God to save an entire people group. (read Esther’s story)

So, know today that this fiery trial will not consume you, but rather refine you in preparation for God’s plan for you. You’re not oppressed ... you’re prepared! As we read in the Bible, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.” (see Isaiah 43:2)

It’s true ... from the moment we rely on God, give Him everything, trust Him unconditionally, then what could crush us becomes our strength, our most beautiful story, our greatest testimony for the glory of God.

Meditate on and apply the magnificent verse that says, “The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.” (see the Bible, Psalm 9:9)

Make God your tower, your fortress, and take courage. This trial won’t last forever, and what will spring forth from it will be a glorious testimony revealing the glory and miracle-working power of our God!

Thanks for existing!
