Living on a Prayer

Description

Let's get serious and consistent in our prayer lives. Make a decision to spend time with the Lord in a secret place and pray earnest, heartfelt prayers.

The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]… (James 5:16, AMP)

So, how would your life be different if God's tremendous power was available for you? What would your world look like if God's power was dispensed to you in a customized and dynamic way to meet your needs? How would the lives of others be impacted if you prayed effective prayers that got results?

When God's power touches our lives or the lives of others – it changes everything!

The good news is that God's power can be made available – through prayer! God has given us the tremendous privilege of prayer and the opportunity to pray in such a way that our earnest, heartfelt, continued prayers make God's power available! Through spending time with the Lord, we can make "prayer deposits" for our personal lives, our families, our children, our church, our jobs, our destiny, our nation and so much more!

When we pray, we can get "ahead of the curve" and put God's power on deposit for our own lives and on the behalf of others. The result? When we, or those we pray for, face decisions, crisis or needs, it's easy to make withdrawals on God's power – because through prayer that power has been made available!

Many of us are "behind the curve" in prayer. We are not consistent in our prayer lives and we pray "crisis" or "911" prayers rather than getting ahead of the prayer curve and making sure God's power is available for every need! We can and should change that!

Let's get serious and consistent in our prayer lives. Make a decision to spend some time with the Lord in a secret place and pray earnest, heartfelt prayers.

Say It: "Father, I want to pray earnest, heartfelt, continued prayers that make tremendous power available for my life and on the behalf of others. I ask You for Your help in establishing a consistent prayer life. In Jesus' Name. Amen."
