Son, from the beginning I created my sons and daughters to glorify me through their work. The enemy tried to secularize labor and make my sons and daughters feel like spiritual second class citizens. However, I placed in every one of my children a gift designed to serve the needs of all my sons and daughters. I even made a point to introduce my Holy Spirit for the first time to a craftsman I handpicked to design the Ark of the Covenant. My desire is that you work as unto me and understand it is a form of worship. I want to reveal my glory through the gifts I have placed in all my sons and daughters. As I did with Moses, I desire to perform miracles through your "staff" to deliver those who are in bondage (Ex 4:17). Never consider your work life calling second-class. I created work and desire my purposes to be accomplished through all you do.
And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for[a] you serve the Lord Christ—Colossians 3:23, 24.
Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: “See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, to design artistic works, to work in gold, in silver, in bronze, in cutting jewels for setting, in carving wood, and to work in all manner of workmanship—Exodus 31:1-5.
