Son, I could have come as a king. I could have come with great fanfare. I could have commanded the recognition worthy of a king. But I came as a lowly baby, born in a barn among the animals. I was rejected at the inn, I would be rejected by my own people. I came to earth as a humble child, born to humble parents who would be judged and maligned for a sin they did not commit. This was the cost of bringing my own Son into a world in desperate need of a solution to the wall between me and mankind. I came for you. If you were the only one that needed my salvation, I would have sent my Son just for you. You are worth it. I've called you to share this good news with others.
