Son, some people think I control every activity on earth. That is not true. I am sovereign but I give man the freedom to choose. I instruct, but I do not control. Sometimes I intervene, but my will is expressed in different ways. In the early days I gave instructions to my sons and daughters about the importance of loving me, blessing and cursing, and choosing life. Not everyone chooses to live in me. But everyone has a choice. I will never manipulate or control. I may influence but I will always give you a choice. You are one of those who choose to follow me from your heart. Keep loving. Keep seeking. You're a good son. You will possess the land which I have reserved for you.
See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, in that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess. But if your heart turns away so that you do not hear, and are drawn away, and worship other gods and serve them, I announce to you today that you shall surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to go in and possess—Deuteronomy 30:15-18.
Whatever the LORD pleases He does, in heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deep places—Psalm 135:6.
