Son, you are learning that my kingdom operates through many seeming contradictions. My son Paul said it well when he confessed: "Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong" (2 Cor 12:10). Son, I am preparing you and many of my sons and daughters to be my swords of love and righteousness in this season. You will be warriors of love. You will turn your instruments of work into instruments of redemption for many. You will learn to operate in your place of weakness and turn it into strength for me and my purposes. Your "limp" will allow you to lean on me for all your needs. You will see my glory manifested in your limp. Embrace your weakness so that my strength will be revealed through you.
Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears; Let the weak say, ‘I am strong’—Joel 3:10.
In that day,” says the LORD, I will assemble the lame, I will gather the outcast and those whom I have afflicted; I will make the lame a remnant, and the outcast a strong nation; So the LORD will reign over them in Mount Zion from now on, even forever—Micah 4:6.
