Son, I am the God of the improbable. I am the great contradiction to life's circumstances. You would not expect to find water in the desert, but I am your stream in the desert. You would not expect to experience joy in the midst of sorrow, but I am your joy. You would not expect to leap when you are lame, but I cause the lame to leap for joy. You would not expect the dumb to sing, but I am the voice of the dumb. Son, look to me as your source that cannot be seen; expect what you cannot reason. I desire to show up in the most dire places, those places where you least expect me. I am the great I AM. And I am always enough. You CAN find satisfaction in me alone.
Every valley shall be filled and every mountain and hill brought low; the crooked places shall be made straight and the rough ways smooth; and all flesh shall see the salvation of God (Luke 3: 5, 6).
Then the lame shall leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb sing. For waters shall burst forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert (Isaiah 35:6 ).
The fear of the LORD leads to life, and he who has it will abide in satisfaction; He will not be visited with evil (Proverbs 19:22-24).
