Being called to leadership son, requires you to carry the burden of others through intercession. It means you will feel what others feel. You will literally know their anguish. It means total identification with the sins and struggles of others. That is the type of intercession I have called my Son to do. "For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin" (Hebrews 4:15). You, likewise, are to stand in the gap for those I call you to serve, just as my Son does for you. I am calling you to identify with my Son's cross and his role of intercession. My son Paul understood this mystery. Many of my sons and daughters understand this mysterious manner of identifying with the needs of others for the sake of my Kingdom. My Son does this daily for you and for all my sons and daughters.
I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church. Colossians 1:24
Epaphras, who is one of you, a bondservant of Christ, greets you, always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete[a] in all the will of God. Col 4:12
