Son, I am teaching you to walk based on covenant, not contract. Living your life based on contract means you will do things based on whether others fulfill their part of the agreement. But I am a God of covenant. When I say I will do something, regardless of the cost to myself and my Son, I will do it. When I made my covenant with Abraham, I knew it would require me to fulfill my promise even in the midst of his failures. He disrupted my plan when he tried to fulfill my plan his way. I have called you to live in complete obedience to Me. That means you must trust me and me alone to fulfill those places in your heart that are lacking. You will know me as the provider for every area of your life as I supply all your needs through my Son, because I am a covenant keeping Father to you (Phil 4:19). Keep trusting me for those things that are a vacuum in your heart right now. I AM faithful. You CAN trust me.
My mercy I will keep for him forever, and My covenant shall stand firm with him. My covenant I will not break, nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips. Psalm 89:28, 34
In whose eyes a vile person is despised, but he honors those who fear the LORD; He who swears to his own hurt and does not change; He who does not put out his money at usury, nor does he take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved. Ps 15:4 ,5
