Listening to the Father's Heart - July 13

Son, I desire you to seek me with all of your heart. When you do this, you will have a greater awareness of my presence in your life. It is human nature not to seek me unless you are in a place of pain or great need. But I desire my sons and daughters to seek me simply to experience my presence and to fellowship with me. Seeing my hand is often easier looking over the past compared to when you are living in the trenches. Companionship with an unseen God may seem to be a mystery, but over time you will be able to discern that I am close by. And remember, I inhabit the praise of my people. This too is a mystery, but not one you have to comprehend in order to enjoy its benefits. Seek me, praise me, and you’ll find yourself continually in my presence!

Then a voice came from the throne, saying, “Praise our God, all you His servants and those who fear Him, both small and great!” And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns! Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.”   Revelation 19:5-7

But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.   Deuteronomy 4:29
