Listening to the Father's Heart - August 27

Son, so many of my sons and daughters have their priorities out of order. They have a belief in me, but their hearts are somewhere else. They have fallen to the way of materialism, which is idolatry. I do desire to bless all my sons and daughters materially, but never at the expense of our relationship and the building up of my Son’s bride on the earth. My body of believers must grow in grace and power to prepare for the return of my Son. You know that I am a Father of provision. I provide and even bless my kids beyond what they can imagine.  I am a giver by my very nature. But I desire priorities to be in the right place. Love me first with all your heart.  And teach my people to draw close to me and to bring me their undivided hearts.

Therefore do not worry, saying, “What shall we eat?” or “What shall we drink?” or “What shall we wear?”  For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.  But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.  Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Matthew 6:31-34

. . . that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. Ephesians 5:27
