The world as we know it will someday end, but it won’t be at the hands of terrorists, nuclear war, the decaying ozone layer or the melting polar ice caps. Jesus Christ will open the scroll and usher in the finale of history. The end of days will see tribulation and destruction like the world has never experienced.
How could anyone be willing and able to take responsibility for these catastrophic events? The One who provided a way of escaping them can! Jesus’ death on the cross paved the path to an eternity with God. Paradise, not suffering, awaits those who place their faith in the Savior. Heaven is available for all, because Jesus is worthy as the one who gave his life for us.
When we are frustrated we must remember to celebrate the one who is worthy. You love your neighbor, not because they are worthy, but because Jesus is worthy. You forgive your enemies, not because they deserve it, but because Jesus is worthy. You rejoice in suffering, not because suffering is pleasant, but because even there Jesus is worthy.
No matter what you face, no matter how you feel, God is greater.
