Comparison, competition and strife are clear signs that we are leading out of pride or fear. When we live in humility and confidence in the Lord, we have an awareness that we are set apart to serve His purposes. When we are confident in who we are in Christ, we are free to focus on what is best for others, not just ourselves. What marks your life and leadership? How clearly will others see the Lord through you today?
Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy. Without holiness, no one will see the Lord.—Hebrews 12:14
Prayer: Lord, I want other people to see You through me today. I know I’ll have opportunities to choose between leading out of pride and fear or humility and confidence. I want to make every effort to live in a way that reflects Your presence in my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
